A custom perfume, composed by hand in Toronto. Tell us the scent you’ve been chasing. You pay upfront — composition fee, first bottle, optional naming, and delivery or pickup — and we begin. Because maceration depends on your ingredients, your fragrance takes 2 to 6 weeks to complete. We email you at every step.

Every signature scent starts with your brief — the scent you’re imagining, a memory or inspiration, how you want it to feel on the skin, notes you love or want to avoid, and any inspired-by request. That form, and the order itself, live on the GPScents site.

What you pay

• $500.00 CAD — Composition fee. One-time, to formulate your scent.
• $65.00 CAD — 50ml bottle. Total $565.00 CAD
• $120.00 CAD — 100ml bottle. Total $620.00 CAD
• $20.00 CAD — Custom naming (optional add-on). Adds your chosen name to the bottle as the perfume’s official name, and optionally a “Made for …” line beside it — your own name, or any name (great for a gift).

Fulfilment

Pickup — 2nd Floor, 561 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON M4X 0A1 · Free. Or delivery, with fees by country. Timeline: 2–6 weeks depending on maceration.

Ownership & terms

You are paying for the service, creative labour and the finished physical product — not the underlying intellectual property (IP). The formula, trade secrets and chemical specifications remain the exclusive intellectual property of GPScents.

You receive the finished perfume in the bottle size you pay for, a permanent 10% off every later bottle of that formula, and an additional $5 CAD off refills of the same formula.

Buy the IP rights — $2,500 CAD extra. GPScents will provide a certificate and all legal documents, plus the exact formula and production techniques you need to produce, sell and commercialise the perfume yourself.

Custom commercial deal. You may also work out a custom commercialisation deal with GPScents — we’re always happy to discuss and come to an agreement.

Commercial perfume creation. We also create commercial perfumes from the very start — submit a request to iron out a deal upfront.

Who owns the formula of my signature perfume?

Can I buy the rights to my perfume?
Yes. For an extra $2,500 CAD, GPScents provides a certificate, all legal documents, and the exact formula and production techniques so you can produce, sell and commercialise the perfume yourself.

Do you create perfumes for brands?
Yes. We create commercial perfumes from the start and can work out a custom commercialisation deal — submit a request and we’ll agree terms upfront.

Do reorders get a discount?
Every later bottle of your formula is permanently 10% off, and refills of the same formula get an additional $5 CAD off.
