This kp-9000-6xh-x2 comes as a typical unmanaged switch. However, for the adventurous, this is a perfect platform for rtlplayground. It features clearly labeled 4 pin serial, and an easy-to-clip flash chip with a generous 4mb of space. You'd need "wson8/qfn8/dfn8(6x5) pitch 6.5" clip, and a ch347 or proper 3.3v ch341.
Arrived in a cardboard box with the correct powerplug and the switch itself (eu-ch plug)
It works as written and has currently 3 different devices connected with 2.5gbit nics.
The throughput is also guaranteed to be 2.5gbit.
Iperf3 results give a nice constant 2.37gbit/s. I highly recommend this for anyone who has several 2.5gbe devices or does frankenstein builds with adapters!
Works perfectly, 2.5gbe bandwidth is supported on all ports, vlan is supported and works as expected.
Dhcp can be configured.
If you use a custom subnet you have to connect to the switch with a client on the 192.168.1.0 subnet and enable dhcp to let your gateway/dhcp server set the ip. Switch can be reached on the default ip 192.168.1.168.
Switch works well. No issues under moderate load. Sfp port sits tight. Overall very satisfied, it has a great price to performance ratio
Great little switch! It’s been running for 5 days and is super smooth. Very easy to change the management ip and set up vlans. Lacp works perfectly, and the 10g sfp+ port had no issues with my dac cable. Best of all, it stays cool despite the fanless design. Definitely worth it for a high-speed home setup.
Arrived in Japan in 4 days, completed setup without issues using the webUI.
Achieved 2.6Gbps in speed tests, expecting durability.
Switch connected via the 10G connection to the main switch in the meter box.
First switch and ready for the future. Don't use 2.5G equipment there yet.
Satisfied with the performance so far. It is indeed managed but I do not use it for settings.
Does not heat up and is in a sealed cabinet
Completely satisfied.
Everything perfect, with an SFP+ to RJ45 for one of the 10Gbps ports recognized perfectly, and the rest at 2.5 without issues. Small and hardly gets hot.
I got it slightly faster than expected, run some tests and it is delivery the performance that is expected.
Even the firmware is recent, only a few months old.
The interface is really simple and my tip is to remember to "save" any change that you performed (even password changes), otherwise it can be lost and you will need to reconfigure everything.
Very good switch for the price it has... easy-to-use interface
I have installed two SFP+ at 10Gbps and it works perfectly.
Highly recommended
Thank you very much
Fantastic! .came fast.
I'm happy 😊 😁 Now i can support 2.5 gbit.
Working fantastic with my router.!! !
Works as it should. i changed the poweadapter with one i had, because i dont trust cheap ac adapters. but the switch it self works great.. i have one more in a non managed version. has been working grest for about a year now.
Best value for money. Everything works at close to the maximum speed of 2.5GHz. I liked it so much that I bought a second one and connected it via the 10G port.
Working great. basic interface but does the job and consistent 2.5gb throughput. arrived fast and safe.
It works perfectly, with the 2.5 fiber reaching 2.2 without any problems.
Product received well packaged and functioning perfectly. I couldn't test the 2.5 GHz speed at the moment, but I will do so as soon as possible. I liked the construction of the Switch, made of high-quality metal with heavy weight. I recommend the product and the seller.
I completely upgraded my home network from 1Gb to 2.5Gb or 10Gb. This is my fourth switch from Keeplink and so far it has been easy to configure without any data packet loss. All PCs, whether Windows, Linux, or other network devices, work without any issues.
Top switch, I have 2 in use and both work perfectly. The boot speed of the switch is very fast and the configuration interface is designed to be very minimalist, yet offers many configuration options. DELL SFP+ modules work flawlessly.
I now have three of these in my network, all connected to a master 10gb switch with fibre. other than my own mistake of forgetting to apply the new configuration after making changes and rebooting, they have all been easy to use, no issues at all.
Unbeatable quality/price ratio. Works out of the box and has normal management functions like vlan tagging etc. Not sure how it can be this cheap but here we are.. Tiny, metal, barely warm. Miniscule power consumption
The switch is exactly as advertised. It works right out of the box. The 10Gb SPF was accepted without any issues. Connections on all ports are stable, no lost packets. The switch connects my wired network devices and home devices to the WiFi router. It's really nice. The casing and socket mounts are solid, it gives a good impression.
Fully functional with a 10Gb/s SFP module added in port 9, well recognized, tested and achieved speeds on the 2.5Gb/s ports, LACP trunk tested and functional as well, perfect!
Very satisfied with this purchase. The pricing was very affordable.
